Flirty Westmont Man Punched Bar Worker in Shoulder Maybe a 'Little Too Hard,' Say Cops

The man possibly punched the woman too hard "due to the alcohol in his system," police said.

A Westmont man’s attempt at being “flirtatious” got him arrested when he punched an Elmhurst bar worker in the shoulder, police said.

Philip Pacific, 27, was charged with battery in connection with the 1:30 a.m. Sunday incident at Elmhurst watering hole the Snuggery.

Pacific was “taken into custody after hitting the victim ‘bar employee’ in the right shoulder,” police said.

Pacific “stated he hit the victim in a manner that he believed was flirtatious but may have hit her too hard due to the alcohol in his system,” police said.
