ELMHURST, IL — A new restaurant in Elmhurst will open Sept. 7. According to a release from the business, Fry the Coop will bring its Nashville Hot Chicken concept to 623 W. North Ave., in Elmhurst. This is the second location for the business, which also has a restaurant in Oak Lawn.

“I fell in love with Nashville Hot Chicken while living in California,” owner Joe Fontana said in a release. “As a native of Villa Park, I wanted to concentrate on Chicago’s suburbs and create a replica of the local delicacy here. We can’t wait to officially open our second location close to my hometown!”

According to the business, the new 2,800-square-foot location will feature a 48-seat dining room along with the signature "chicken wall."
