Red Caffeine Marketing + Technology gives $1,000 to Maddie's Mitten March

Red Caffeine Marketing + Technology in Lombard, IL, believes that small gestures can have big impact. Red Caffeine founder, Kathy Steele met Maddie Bozik at the 25N Coworking “What’s Your Story?” Award celebration. Impressed by Maddie’s empathy and entrepreneurial spirit at such a young age, Steele resolved to help raise awareness and funds for Maddie’s Mitten March.

Red Caffeine is dedicated to making an impact on a client’s business while also impacting the community at large. They decided to put those ideals to work in their 2015 holiday greeting to clients and friends by making a fun holiday video that also served as a way to raise the profile of a worthy cause.

Maddie’s Mitten March is a non-profit organization, founded in 2008 by a 9-year-old girl, with a mission to provide winter clothing to those in need within the Kane County area.

Now 16, Maddie’s non-profit has grown significantly, with the ability to distribute clothing throughout Illinois based on availability of clothing and finances. Maddie and her friends and family operate out of a repurposed school bus, collecting coats, scarves, hats, mittens and boots from different neighborhoods.

Encouraging their clients, friends and business contacts to watch and share their “Twelve Days at Red Caffeine” holiday video, Red Caffeine pledged to donate $1 to Maddie for every “Like” earned on Facebook.
