Harassing Repeat Caller Says 'You're Going to Die:' Police

Elmhurst police were contacted Sept. 8 about an unknown man who had been making harassing phone calls for months.

At 10:32 a.m., the receiver of the calls answered the phone, and it was the same harassing male caller, according to Elmhurst police.

The victim told the caller, “Please leave me alone,” and hung up the phone. Later that morning, the man called again and told the victim, “You’re going to die.”

Police have made a record of the incident.
