Children with Hearing Loss Receive Surprise Visit from Harlem Globetrotters in Chicago Suburb

TIME: Tuesday, Dec. 11 at 1:30 p.m.
PLACE: Child's Voice, 180 Hansen Court, Wood Dale, IL 60191
Chicago area children with hearing loss will receive a surprise visit from Harlem Globetrotters stars El Gato Melendez and Champ Thompson. The Globetrotters are in the Chicago area spreading goodwill prior to games at Allstate Arena and United Center after Christmas.

El Gato and Champ will spread the message of joy with their world famous tricks inside a Child's Voice classroom to kids ages three to eight.
Child's Voice is a listening and spoken language program for children with hearing loss. Founded by a group of dedicated and determined parents, Child's Voice provides children with hearing loss the opportunity to learn to listen and talk.

The Globetrotters will bring their all-new Fan Powered World Tour to Allstate Arena on Thursday, Dec. 27 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and United Center on Friday, Dec. 28 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are available at www.harlemglobetrotters.com.
Child's Voice
For over 22 years, Child's Voice has been changing lives of children with hearing loss and their families. Child's Voice has grown from a school serving only six students, to a thriving comprehensive program providing services to over 390 children with hearing loss from birth through age eight.
