Hero Pizza Man Saves Life in Elmhurst

A hero pizza deliveryman rushed to assist a passed out person, calling 911 and standing by until rescue workers arrived to start treating the victim.

The pizza man was making a delivery to a house on South Berkley Avenue about 8:30 p.m. Tuesday when he “found the victim lying on the floor of the living room,” police said.

The pizza man “gained entry and helped the victim off the floor, called 911, (and) the paramedics arrived and began treating the victim.

The Elmhurst police failed to provide any information on the hero pizza man or what had become of the person he saved.
