Hinsdale Central Employee Gets Top Professional Honor

HINSDALE, IL — Maggie Buoy, a social worker at Hinsdale Central High School, has been named the 2020 School Social Worker of the Year by the Illinois Association of School Social Workers, according to a school district news release.

This award is presented annually to "a social worker whose work in the schools and communities exemplifies social work of the highest quality." She will be recognized during the association's 50th annual conference on Oct. 30.
