Holan Expresses Concern Over Progressive Tax Push
Says Illinois Needs Immediate Structural Reform

State Representative candidate Heidi Holan expressed her concern over the latest Democrat proposal to have taxpayers fix Illinois’ financial woes:
“This week’s progressive income tax bill was the latest in a string of take hike proposals being touted by Democrat leaders in order to extract more money from Illinois citizens. Despite four years of a debilitating 67% income tax hike, those same leaders have continued their insatiable spending habits. Illinois taxpayers have suffered the fallout of 15 straight years of a Democrat-led legislature spending more money than Illinois receives in revenue. Wash, rinse and repeat is not what Illinois needs at this time when families and businesses are fleeing our communities for better opportunities at a lower cost in neighboring states. Structural reforms that will lower state expenses and attract businesses must be implemented immediately to create an environment where all families and businesses can thrive and to end the status quo.” – Heidi Holan
