Holly Trolley Returns To Elmhurst For The Holidays
The Holly Trolley will offer several holiday events and experiences until Dec. 29.

ELMHURST, IL — The Explore Elmhurst Trolley is back for the holiday edition “Holly Trolley” on Saturdays Nov. 24 through Dec. 29 from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The city said the trolley will follow the same route as the summer trolley program.
You can enter to win weekly prizes on the trolley and enjoy the following experiences and events:
- Nov. 24 from 4 to 6 p.m., Elmhurst Choral Union Chamber Singers
- Dec. 1 from 1 to 3 p.m. and 4 to 4:30 p.m., "It’s A Wonderful Life" Trivia (Elmhurst History Museum) and Santa rides on the trolley to City Centre Hometown Holiday Block Party
- Dec. 8 from 4 to 6 p.m., Elsa from "Frozen" rides the trolley
- Dec. 15 from 2 to 2:30 p.m., Elmhurst Public Library storytime
- Dec. 22 from 4 to 6 p.m., Elmhurst Choral Union Chamber Singers
- Dec. 29 from 4 to 6 p.m., Elsa from "Frozen" rides the trolley
According to the city, the Holly Trolley will connect three shopping districts: Elmhurst City Centre, Spring Road and York and Vallette. In addition to the stores and restaurants in these areas, the trolley will connect residents to many holiday events. Business will also be participating in the trolley program by offering specials on days when the trolley is running. The special offer will be listed in the merchant’s storefront window.
