HSBC to Move 1,500 Employees from Elmhurst, Mettawa, to Arlington Heights
The company plans to open a new office this spring on the former site of Nokia Siemens.

The North American unit of London-based HSBC Holdings plans to transfer 1,500 employees from offices in Elmhurst and Mettawa to a new 162,000-square-foot office in Arlington Heights, the Village of Arlington Heights announced Thursday.
The company is aiming to open the new space on the former site of Nokia Siemens, located at 1421 W. Shure Drive, in the spring, according to a news release.

HSBC signed an 11-year lease agreement with Torburn Partners, which bought the five-building, 1.1 million-square-foot campus in Arlington Heights. The area is one of Arlington Height’s largest office campuses.
HSBC is a holding company, which through its subsidiaries offers financial services in the United States and Canada. It provides personal and consumer finance, retail banking, wealth management, commercial, private and global banking, as well as corporate investment banking, mortgage insurance and trust services.
