I-290 Closed As Bomb Squad Investigates: TV Station
A reporter heard state police referring to an explosion.
WESTCHESTER, IL – Interstate 290 in the western suburbs is backed up in both directions Thursday because of a bomb squad investigating an "active incident," NBC 5 Chicago reported.
NBC 5 said the incident started shortly after 10 a.m. in Westchester near Mannheim Road.
