IC Catholic Prep Earns IHSA Sportsmanship Banner Award at 2016 Football State Championship
ICCP is proud to announce their selection to receive the IHSA Sportsmanship Banner Award.
IC Catholic Prep (ICCP) Athletic Director, Tom Schergen, is proud to announce that ICCP has been selected to receive the IHSA Sportsmanship Banner Award in conjunction with the 2016 Knights Football IHSA Class 3A State Championship. ICCP will receive a custom banner from the IHSA to display at their school to honor this special recognition.
The IHSA awards Sportsmanship Banner Awards to schools who exemplify the ideals of sportsmanship at the state final tournaments in all team sports. A committee consisting of Sportsmanship Advisory Committee members, IHSA staff members and other tournament personnel grade each participating school's coaches, players and fans based on a rubric developed by the Sportsmanship Advisory Committee.
IC Catholic Prep is the oldest Catholic, coeducational college prep high school in DuPage County.
