ELMHURST, IL — Kimmer's Ice Cream will expand their gourmet ice cream business to Elmhurst in early 2018. According to the city, the business is the brainchild of ice cream fanatic Kimberly Elam. Kimmer's Ice Cream offers guests flavors ranging from traditional favorites to creative taste sensations such as Aztec Hot Chocolate, Fairy Tale Cookie, or Sunday Breakfast.
The city said every flavor is hand-crafted in small batches daily at their flagship creamery in St. Charles. Kimmer's hopes to open in February 2018 at the former home of Brain Freeze, 110 W. Park Ave.
