ICGS 1st Graders "Fly the W" with their Mystery Guest!

On Friday, October 14th, ICGS 1st graders in Mrs. Foley-Gajda's class had a special "Mystery Guest" visitor.

Each year in 1st grade at Immaculate Conception Grade School (Elmhurst), it is a longstanding tradition that students enjoy visits from "Mystery Guests" every Friday. This guest, one of their parents who is dressed in disguise, visits the classroom and students have to ask the guest questions that will help to determine which parent it is. On October 14th, one first grader's mother, a diehard Chicago Cubs fan, dressed as "Cubby Bear" in honor of the Cubs! Once her identity was established, she distributed supplies so that the 1st graders could make their own "W" flags. On Thursday, October 27th, ICGS students enjoyed a Chicago Cubs dress down day in honor of team.
