ICGS 2nd Graders Learn About the Right to Vote
Today on Election Day, Miss Erin Kennedy's second graders at ICGS learned all about the voting process.
On Election Day, November 6th, Miss Kennedy's Immaculate Conception Grade School 2nd graders learned all about the precious right to vote. During the week leading up to Election Day, Miss Kennedy had been teaching her students about the process and importance of voting. On November 6th, each student registered to vote and then received a voter's identification card. On Election Day her students voted on our favorite song. The students each received an “I Voted Today” sticker after placing their vote.
