ICGS to Hold "Marcia May Light the Knight Fun Run" on Sept. 6th

The Immaculate Conception Grade School Parents' Club will host the 3rd annual "Marcia May Light the Knight Fun Run" at 6 pm on Friday, September 6th. The run will begin at Wild Meadows Trace at the Prairie Path and participants can choose between a 3 mile run or 1 mile walk. The inaugural race was established in 2017 in memory of Mrs. Marcia May, an ICGS alumna and second grade teacher there for more than twenty years. Mrs. May passed on in 2017 after a valiant cancer battle. Hayden DeAngelis, her granddaughter, is a student at ICGS and will serve as the Grand Marshall for this year's race. Race goers are asked to arrive by 5:15 pm to pick up their swag bags, check out raffle prizes, enjoy the DJ, and warm up. All children in fifth grade or younger must be accompanied by an adult. All proceeds will benefit the ICGS Parents' Club.
