ICGS to Perform, "Mary Poppins!"
On the evenings of March 2nd and March 3rd, and the afternoon of March 4th, the ICGS spring musical, "Mary Poppins" will be presented.
This weekend, under the sponsorship of the Immaculate Conception Grade School Parents' Club, eighty-four 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will perform or serve on stage crew in the school's spring musical, "Mary Poppins." The play, which has been in rehearsals since January, is being directed by Emily Leonard with music direction by Elmhurst native, Helen Knudsen. The choreographer is ICGS alumni parent, Peg Koch. Evening performances will take place at 7 pm on Friday, March 2nd and Saturday, March 3rd. On Sunday, March 4th, there will be a matinee at 2 pm. All performances will take place in the IC Gymnasium Theatre at 130 Arthur Street (corner of York Rd. & Arthur St.) in Elmhurst. All tickets are $8 (cash or check made payable to ICGS Parents' Club) and can be purchased at the door.
