Teen Boy Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Girl At Party
Authorities say a 17-year-old Elmhurst boy broke down a door to return to a party before sexually assaulting a female friend.
ELMHURST, IL — A 17-year-old Elmhurst boy faces felony sexual assault charges stemming from allegations he broke down the door to a home late Saturday night and told a female friend, "I'm going to kill you" before sexually assaulting her. The DuPage County Sheriff's Office charged the minor with two counts of criminal sexual assault, Elmhurst police said on Labor Day.
Police say the boy was asked to leave the party earlier in the night and did so, but returned later and forced his way back into the home. He then grabbed the victim before threatening to kill her and then sexually assaulted her, police said.
The boy appeared at a detention hearing Monday morning. A judge ordered him detained.
