Internationally Acclaimed Cellist Elmhurst Concert

Internationally acclaimed Canadian cellist Dongkyun An is returning to Chicago to perform an all solo cello recital program. There will be two concerts, first at First Congregational United Church in Elmhurst, IL on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 3 PM, and a week later at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Evanston, IL on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 7:30 PM.

This event is being sponsored by the Landowska Harpsichord Society of Illinois, Ltd. Dongkyun will present the masterful Bach Suite in C Major, Kodaly Solo Sonata, and a work by modern cellist/composer Giovanni Sollima. Cellist Sarah Berger will make a guest appearance to perform Jean-Baptiste Barrière’s Sonata for two cellos.
