Japanese Ramen Restaurant Coming To Elmhurst

ELMHURST, IL — A Japanese Ramen restaurant will open this fall in Elmhurst. Kan Ya, located at 108 E. Schiller, offers fresh noodles with broth made from scratch. An exact opening date is not yet certain.

According to the release, specialties of the restaurant include Chashu, which is a Japanese style BBQ braised pork belly with a soft-boiled egg. The restaurant also offers home-made pot stickers. In addition to ram, sushi and teriyaki dishes will also be on the menu.
