Man Arrested for DUI, Fleeing Police After Hit and Run in Elmhurst

Following a hit and run June 24, police found the driver, but he refused to stop.

Marence Johnson, age 24 of the 1800 block of North Mobile, Chicago, eventually stopped at Butterfield and Bryan, according to Elmhurst police.

Johnson was charged with two counts of DUI, fleeing and attempting to elude, speeding and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. He was released on bond.
