Man Arrested For False Elmhurst Carjacking Report: Police
In another case, a man was charged after a road rage incident in an Elmhurst neighborhood.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police charged people with felony disorderly conduct and DUI, among other offenses. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst arrest log:
Felony disorderly conduct
- Alexander Torres Mondragon, 21, of Chicago, was arrested about 10 p.m. Friday on a felony disorderly conduct involving a false crime report. Police said he fabricated a carjacking in the 400 block of East Lake Street. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

- A 24-year-old Lisle man was arrested about 7 p.m. Saturday on charges of obstructing an officer, disorderly conduct and disobeying an officer. Police said they were called to a road rage incident at Argyle and Eggleston avenues. The drunk man was released.
Befouling property
- A 57-year-old Glen Ellyn man was cited about 12:30 p.m. Saturday on a disorderly conduct charge involving befouling property. Police said he urinated on a fence at McKinley Avenue and Spring Road. He was released.

- A 59-year-old Schaumburg man was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Thursday at York Street and Industrial Avenue on charges of DUI, violation of the concealed carry law, unlawful possession of marijuana by driver, failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle. He was taken to the police station and then released.
- A 25-year-old Hillside man was arrested about 4:30 a.m. Saturday at York Street and Brush Hill Road on charges of DUI, driving an uninsured vehicle and improper lane usage. He was taken to the police station and then released.
