Man Bites Another's Thumb In Elmhurst Fight: Cops

In another case, police arrested a man on a charge of being a felon in possession of a gun, authorities said.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police charged people with disorderly conduct, being a felon in possession of a firearm, drug possession and DUI. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:

Disorderly conduct

  • Sean Marchese, 29, of Lombard, was cited about 2 a.m. Sunday at York Street and Cayuga Avenue on a charge of disorderly conduct. According to a police report, an intoxicated Marchese was in an argument, which turned physical when he bit another person's thumb. He was released on bond.

  • Warren Wilson, 28, of Riverdale, was arrested about 1 a.m. Thursday at North and Melrose avenues on charges of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, aggravated possession of a weapon, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver, improper lighting, failure to signal and failure to wear a seatbelt. Police said a loaded pistol was found under the driver's seat. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Drugs

  • Steven Foster, 64, of Bensenville, was arrested about 5 p.m. Wednesday at Park and Adele avenues on a charge of unlawful possession of a controlled substance. Police were checking on Foster's well-being. He was released on bond.
  • Melvin Sunil, 23, of Des Plaines, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Thursday in the 100 block of North Addison Avenue on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail. In the same incident, Cyril Mathew, 23, of Addison, was arrested on a charge of attempted unlawful possession of a controlled substance. He was released on bond.

DUI

  • Gaby Marquez, 41, of Elgin, was arrested about 4 a.m. Monday at York Street and North Avenue on charges of DUI, improper lane usage, improper window treatment and possession of open alcohol. She was released on bond.
