Man Breaks Into Vacant Elmhurst House: Police

In another case, a man is accused of disorderly conduct at a grocery store.

ELMHURST, IL – In recent days, Elmhurst police arrested people on charges of burglary, disorderly conduct, violation of a protection order, retail theft, fraudulent identification, criminal damage and DUI. Here is information from the latest police reports:

Burglary

  • Alexander Soliveras, 42, of Chicago, was arrested about 11:30 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of North Clinton Avenue on charges of residential burglary, theft, criminal damage to property and possession of a controlled substance. Police said Soliveras forced entry into a vacant house. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Disorderly conduct

  • Nicola Fasano, 37, of Rolling Meadows, was arrested about 2 p.m. Friday on the property of Mariano's, 678 N. York St., on a charge of disorderly conduct. He was released on bond.

Violating an order of protection

  • Juan Galan, 43, of Addison, was arrested about 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the Extended Stay America hotel, 550 W. Grand Ave., on a charge of violating an order of protection. Police said they responded to a domestic disturbance. Galan and another person got into an argument, with Galan punching a glass picture frame. He was released on bond.

Fraudulent identification

  • Jorge Villazanza Jr., 20, of Maywood, was cited about 11 a.m. Friday in the 600 block of North York Street on charges of attempted possession of a fraudulent identification and using a phone while driving. He was released on bond.

Retail theft

  • Lydia Gonzalez, 51, of Westchester, was arrested about 5 p.m. Friday at Kohl's, 303 S. Route 83, on a felony charge of retail theft. She was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

Criminal damage

  • Devon J. Gibson, 34, of Chicago, was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Friday at the apartment complex at 4 Elm Creek Drive on charges of criminal damage to property and marijuana possession. Police said they responded to a domestic disturbance. A woman said Gibson forced his way into her apartment, damaging the patio door. He was released on bond.

DUI

  • Deborah Fonseca, 28, of Addison, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Saturday at Lake Street and Grand Avenue on charges of DUI, driving with a revoked license, possession of open alcohol and failure to wear a seatbelt. She was released on bond.
  • Talana T. Stewart, 34, of Chicago, was arrested about 5:30 a.m. Sunday at North Avenue and Route 83 on charges of DUI, speeding and improper lane usage. She was released on bond.

Unlawful visitation interference

  • Teena M. Rubright, 28, of Melrose Park, was cited about 10 a.m. Sunday near Portillo's, 155 S. Route 83, on a charge of unlawful visitation interference. Police said Rubright failed to drop off her child under the terms of a visitation agreement. She was released on bond.
