Man Dies One Week After Eisenhower Crash Near Elmhurst
Accident happened July 23 near St. Charles Road in eastbound lanes of Eisenhower Expressway, Sun-Times reports.

A Robbins man died more than a week after a crash on the Eisenhower Expressway near Elmhurst.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office said that Rogers Pickens 60, was hurt in a crash that occurred around 9:45 a.m. July 23. The crash happened in the eastbound lanes of the expressway near St. Charles Road, reported the Chicago Sun-Times.
Pickens, of the 3100 block of West 137th Place in Robbins, was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where he succumbed to his injuries at 5:39 p.m. Monday, according to the Sun-Times.

An autopsy conducted on Wednesday determined that the Robbins man had died of complications of multiple injuries from a motor vehicle crash. His death was ruled an accident, the medical examiner’s office said.
