Man Fleeing Cops Abandoned Vehicle, Hid Under Car: Elmhurst Police
Paul Jacome was charged with two counts of aggravated drunken driving.

Elmhurst police were trying to make a traffic stop around 2:30 a.m. July 31 at St. Charles and Poplar when the driver sped up, turned off his lights and fled the scene.
The car was later found abandoned in the 500 block of West Lake Street, according to Elmhurst police.
Police found Paul Jacome, age 28 of the 7800 block of West Cahill Terrace, Chicago, hiding under another car. He was arrested and taken to the police department.

Jacome was charged with two counts of aggravated drunken driving, aggravated fleeing and eluding, aggravated driving while license revoed, reckless driving, two counts of speeding, improper lane usage, failure to signal turn, driving without lights when required, two counts of disobeying a stop sign, expired registration, unlawful use of registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle, police reported.
He was taken to DuPage County Jail, and his bond was set at $8,000, according to the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office.
