Man Wants Overnight Elmhurst Bar Stay: Police
He planned to drink his own alcohol in the beer garden, according to a report. Instead, he was given a no-trespass notice.

ELMHURST, IL – In the last few days, Elmhurst police have handled cases involving an overnight bar dweller, suspicious park activity, a missing husband, a dog attack, a disoriented person, damage from a domestic dispute and a social media threat. Here is information from the latest Elmhurst police reports:
Overnight bar dweller
- Police were called to a dispute about 5:30 p.m. Friday at The Club Shot & Beer, 113 N. Addison Ave. Officers were told that the suspect was staying overnight in the beer garden while drinking his own alcohol. The suspect was given a no-trespass notice.
Suspicious park activity

- Police were called shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday about people carrying items from a car into East End Park, 463 E. Schiller St. The people were found to have alcohol. An 18-year-old Elmhurst man who lives in the 200 block of South Poplar Avenue was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor.
Missing husband
- A resident in the 800 block of South Fairfield Avenue called police about 4:30 a.m. Thursday to report that her husband had left their house and not returned. The man was found in Lincolnwood and taken to that suburb's police station. His wife picked him up there.
Dog attack

- A man told police that two large dogs came from a house and attacked his dog while he was walking it about 4 p.m. Friday at Fullerton Avenue and Eastland Street.
Disoriented person
- About 8 a.m. Saturday, a disoriented person was found inside Lezza Spumoni & Desserts, 544 S. Spring Road. The person was given a no-trespass notice at the bakery's request.
Domestic dispute damage
- Police were called to a domestic dispute about 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the 200 block of West First Street. Two people had gotten into an argument. One of them removed the other from the property. The removed person then threw a large rock at a window, police said. An investigation, including finding the property owner, is pending.
Social media threat
- A resident in the 900 block of South Hillcrest Avenue told police Saturday that someone had threatened her in social media comments. The suspect could not be found.
