Man Smashes Car Window in Road Rage Incident: Cops

A man broke the passenger window of another man’s car July 10 after he was cut off in traffic.

Charles E Higgins, age 48 of the 700 block of South Hawthrone, was arrested and charged with local ordinance injuring property and released, according to Elmhurst police.

Police reported that after Higgins was cut off, he followed the car to a stop light at York and Brush Hill, got out of his car and broke the passenger window.

State police stopped both drivers on Interstate 294, and Higgins acknowledged he broke the window, according to police.
