Man Uses Emergency Lights to Pull Over Friend's Girlfriend

He was charged with possession of oscillating/flashing emergency lights and disorderly conduct.

Elmhurst police arrested a 19-year-old man Aug. 27 after he reportedly used emergency lights, a siren and a loud speaker to pull over his friend’s girlfriend and order her out of a car.

Police were called to the 300 block of West Grand at 8:09 p.m. for a report of gunshots and flashing red and blue emergency lights, according to Elmhurst police.

Officers learned that Migente Motors had bought a white Chevrolet Tahoe with working emergency lights and a siren at an auction.

Jose Noriega-Ramirez, of the 600 block of Arnold Streamwood, was arrested and charged with possession of oscillating/flashing emergency lights and disorderly conduct, police reported. He said he didn’t know anything about the gunshot sounds. He was released on bond.
