Marijuana Grown In Elmhurst Neighborhood: Cops
A resident was charged in connection with backyard plants, police said.
ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst resident was arrested this week after officers found out he had marijuana plants growing in his backyard, police said.
Carlos E. Loria, 52, who lives in the 800 block of South Hillside Avenue, was charged Wednesday with producing or possessing marijuana plants. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
The plants were in public view, with Loria admitting he planted them, police said.
