Massaging Without A License, Criminal Damage: Elmhurst Arrests

The following items were taken from the Elmhurst police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

May 21

• Daniel Rohde, 27, of Forest Park, was arrested at 10:06 a.m. in the 500 block of North Emroy for criminal damage to property after using a bat to break out the windows and damage the body of a car. He was taken to DuPage County Jail.
• Pihua Wu, 61, of the 400 block of East Adams, was arrested at 5:31 p.m. in the 500 block of North York for massaging without a license.
• Jose Martinez-Berrum, 47, of Addison, was arrested at 11:31 p.m. at St. Charles and Route 83 for DUI, disobeying a traffic control device, failure to signal, improper lane use and transportation of open alcohol.

May 22

• Janet Plonka, 27, of Glen Ellyn, was arrested at 12:07 a.m. at Route 83 and North Avenue for using an electronic communication device and driving while license suspended.
• Ahmad Hamdan, 19, of Chicago, was arrested at 12:10 a.m. at North and I-290 for improper lane use, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia, consumption of alcohol by a minor and Zero Tolerance.
• Abel Rodriguez, 26, of Des Plaines, was arrested at 9:25 p.m. in the 400 block of North York for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and illegal liquor access.

May 23

• Julio Garcia-Hueramo, 27, of Bensenville, was arrested at 3:42 a.m. at York and Grand for driving while license suspended and one headlight.
• Vincent Thompson, 29, of Lombard, was arrested at 6:08 a.m. at Riverside and Monroe for failure to yield at a stop intersection and driving while license suspended.
• Brian Kmiotek, 19, of Norridge, was arrested at 9 p.m. at Schiller and Commerce for driving while license suspended, failure to yield turning left and no insurance.
