The first 52 customers in line will receive a free pizza or a hand-tossed salad.

MOD Pizza, a Seattle-based chain restaurant, will host the grand opening of its Elmhurst location at noon Saturday, Aug. 15, at 556 West St. Charles Road.

The first 52 customers in line will receive a free pizza or a hand-tossed salad, and they will also be entered to win “Pizza for a Year,” according to a MOD news release.

All proceeds from the grand opening sales will benefit the Elmhurst Children’s Assistance Foundation “to support their goal of providing financial assistance to families or children who have been impacted by a serious medical or disabling condition,” the release stated.
