During the evening, Shareef left the hotel, but he returned the following morning, police said.
Shareef departed again about 12:30 p.m. Feb. 4 when the women checked out of the hotel. They then met up with Shareef to smoke marijuana in the parking garage at the office building at 2 Trans Am Plaza in Oakbrook Terrace, according to a news release from DuPage County prosecutors.

Shareef entered C-Woods' car. At some point, C-Woods grabbed Shareef's phone and tried to transfer money to herself from his Cash App account, police said.
Shareff got his phone back, returned to his car and drove away.
Both drivers left the parking garage, with Shareef's car parked along the passenger side of C-Woods' car, police said.
C-Woods pulled out a gun, rolled down the passenger window and fired the gun across the face of another person, who was in the front passenger seat, police said.
Shareef was reported as being shot in the head.
C-Woods fled to Wisconsin, but she was arrested a day later, police said.
A DuPage County judge ordered C-Woods held in jail until her trial.
