Movie, Model Train Exhibit Held At Elmhurst Library

ELMHURST, IL — Get in the holiday spirit at the Elmhurst Public Library and watch a showing of "The Polar Express." Guests will also be able to check out the model trains inspired by the story in the large meeting room.

"The Polar Express" events will be held Saturday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The movie, based on the book by Chris Van Allsburg, will start at 1 p.m. in the newly-remodeled kids program room, the library said.

You can pick up movie tickets starting at 9 a.m., and there is no registration required to see the model train exhibit.
