The Music of Christmas: Elmhurst Choral Union & Orchestra

A joyful mix of Christmas music for choir, soloists & orchestra

Elmhurst Choral Union and Orchestra present "The Music of Christmas" on Sunday, December 15 at 3:00 p.m. in Hammerschmidt Chapel on the campus of Elmhurst College.

Conductor Scott Uddenberg leads the chorus, professional orchestra and soloists in Vivaldi’s Gloria, along with a joyful mix of Christmas music by Leroy Anderson, and Alfred Burt carols.

A pre-concert lecture by composer David DeVasto begins at 2:00.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $23 for seniors and $10 for youth (7-22). Tickets are available from elmhurstchoralunion.org, 800-838-3006, or at the door.

Elmhurst Choral Union is an outstanding auditioned chorus performing classical masterworks and great choral music of all eras. The concert is funded in part by grants from Explore Elmhurst Grant Program and from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
