Livia Italian Eatery will open this fall in Elmhurst.

ELMHURST, IL — A new Italian eatery will open in Elmhurst this fall. Livia Italian Eater will open at 116 Schiller St., and will be Chef Brian Goewey's fifth Chicagoland restaurant, according to the city.
Goewey also owns Fire Wine in Glen Ellyn, Gia Mia Pizza in Wheaton and Geneva, and the Livia Italian Eatery location in Geneva. According to the city, the restaurant is named after one of Goewey's daughters.
Livia will be an organically driven, full-service restaurant that will incorporate local, fresh ingredients, the city said. The team at Livia creates items like meatball sliders, New Zealand lamb chops, Farmer's Wife flatbread, quiona blackened salmon salad and chef-driven custom charcuterie boards.
