A New Preschool Option In Elmhurst

ELMHURST, IL – A new preschool is set to open this spring in Elmhurst, which follows the closure of another one last year.

Elmhurst Preparatory is planned for 119 W. Vallette St. Representatives of the preschool handed out information about the business at last weekend's Elmhurst St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Last year, Elmhurst Academy of Early Learning, 212 W. Lake St., closed. The preschool started in 1981. A search online indicates that a new preschool called Fia Mia Academy may take its place.

Elmhurst Preparatory says in its literature that it will offer part- and full-time programs for children 2 to 5 years old.

The preschool has set up a website, which lists Michelle Pike and Renee Grear as the operators.
