No Homework Ban In Elmhurst D205
A board member has advice for parents upset that their children are not getting homework.
ELMHURST, IL – An Elmhurst school board member this week sought to dispel the rumor that the district has a "no homework" policy.
"We hear a lot that there's a policy in place that says no homework," said Elmhurst District 205 member Kara Caforio said. "(The student handbook) talks about homework at elementary school, at middle school and at high school."
She had advice for parents on homework.

"If you are upset that your child is not getting homework, that's a conversation for you and the teacher," she said.
Last year, many parents of Lyons Township High School students protested a no-homework policy. The school made small concessions in response.
