NZone in Elmhurst Hosts Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

NZone helps children learn the elements and responsibilities of sports while having fun and enhancing their skills.

Elmhurst’s newest sports facility, NZone, opened for business April 9, 2015. Located at 770 N Church Rd., NZone is a sports facility that provides an introduction to sports for young athletes. Coaches provide kids with the knowledge and techniques they need for their favorite sports.

To celebrate the grand opening, NZone invited the community out to its facility for free food, entertainment and fun. They kicked off the event with the Elmhurst Chamber of Commerce through a magnificent ribbon cutting ceremony. The unforgettable ceremony was followed by the open house event in which families came out to show their support as children raced around the facility playing with the coaches.

NZone gives children the opportunity to learn the elements and responsibilities of sports while having fun and enhancing their skills. At the open house, parents had the chance to check out the facility and learn more about the programs offered. Nick McDaniel, owner of the Elmhurst NZone location, was very pleased with the overall turnout of the event. “We were worried because of the severity of the weather that day, but overall, I think we had a great turnout. Tons of children came with their families and had a great time! The biggest accomplishment for this event was keeping the smiles on the kids’ faces!”
