Oak Brook Cops Release Images of Louis Vuitton Smash-and-Grab
Images show eight masked individuals leaping over counters and grabbing merchandise.

Oak Brook police released security video images from Sunday’s early morning smash-and-grab at the Louis Vuitton store at Oak Brook Center in the hopes that someone may recognize one of the masked individuals.
At 4:04 a.m. Sept. 7, a minivan backed through the shop’s front door causing extensive damage. The images show eight individuals wearing masks and gloves leaping over counters and grabbing merchandise.

After grabbing numerous items, the offenders fled. The driver remained inside the van.
Police said the estimated loss is $120,000, including 50 pieces of merchandise. No other information is available and investigation remains ongoing.
