Organically Grown Seedlings Available to Resident Gardeners
The seedlings are available for purchase to benefit the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Elmhurst.

Elmhurst gardeners can buy organically grown vegetable and herb seedlings to benefit the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Elmhurst.
The church is working with SCARCE and Sweet Home Organics to make the seedlings available. The seedlings are grown in Villa Park, they’re free of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers and genetically modified seeds, according to the church.
- To order seedlings, visit the Sweet Home Organics website and click the “Seedlings” tab. Select First Congregational UCC in the “How did you find us” section on the checkout screen to benefit the church.
Orders can be picked up May 2 at the Green Garden Fair, to be held in the church parking lot at 235 S. Kenilworth Elmhurst. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 pm.
