Owner of Found Wallet Full of Drugs Hasn't Claimed His Property

A wallet found in front of a post office contained plastic baggies full of suspected drugs. The owner hasn't answered calls to return it.

Someone found a wallet June 28 that contained suspected drugs in front of the post office on East First Street

In the wallet were five plastic baggies with suspected heroin residue, one baggie with 4 grams of suspected heroin and one baggie with five white pills with ZD14 stamped on them, according to Elmhurst police.

The owner of the wallet, named on an Illinois identification card inside, couldn’t be reached.

The items were placed into evidence for safekeeping, police reported.
