Park Palooza this Saturday at Berens Park

Elmhurst Park District's end-of-summer bash will include live music, family fun and more!

End the summer on a high note! Join Elmhurst Park District in Berens Park from 5-9 p.m. on Saturday, August 20 for family games, music on the lawn and a beer garden. Performing on stage will be Gen Fuze (5-6:30 p.m.) and The Student Body (7-9 p.m.).

Location & Parking

  • Berens Park, 493 N. Oaklawn Avenue. Most activities will be located around and near The Hub.
  • Parking located at Berens Park's east and west parking lots. Parking will also be available at Wagner Community Center.

Activities

  • Live music: Gen Fuze playing classic rock (5-6:30 p.m.) and The Student Body playing 80s, 90s and today (7-9 p.m.)
  • Beer garden
  • Carnival games
  • Circus Train Inflatable Obstacle Course for 6 and under
  • Extreme Inflatable Obstacle Course for 7 and up
  • The Hub's amenities, including spray ground, batting cages and miniature golf will be open for free during the event
  • Balloon twister & air brush tattoo artist

Beer Garden

  • Beer garden with adult beverages for purchase from Elmhurst Brewing Company
  • Drink tickets and wristbands can be purchased at The Hub (tickets are $9/each and non-refundable)
  • All ages are allowed in the beer garden fenced area, must show a valid State of Federal I.D. to receive a wristband
  • Dogs are not permitted in the fenced area
  • Drinks will include seltzer, wine, Julius Squeezer (Hazy IPA) and Go to Helles (German Lager)

General Information

  • Staff reserve the right to search personal belongings brought onto District property.
  • No outside food or beverages. Purchases can be made at the food trucks or at The Hub concessions stand.
  • Picnic tables will be available, but you are also welcome to bring in chairs or blankets.
  • Dogs are allowed in Berens Park but must be on leash. Unfortunately dogs will not be allowed in the fenced area.
  • Restrooms are located on the north side of The Hub and porta-potties will be located inside the fenced area.
  • Last call for drink tickets will be 8:15 p.m. Last call for drinks is 8:30 p.m.
