Photos: Quigley Visits Elmhurst Firefighters

Rep. Mike Quigley (IL-05) visited Elmhurst on Monday to meet with firefighters who recently received more than $200,000 through the Assistance to Firefighter Grant.

The Elmhurst Fire Department plans to use the grant money to replace 38 Self Contained Breathing Apparatuses used by firefighters and rescue workers during emergencies.

Quigley, who wrote a letter of support for the grant, stopped by to learn more about how the funds will be used to buy new equipment and to hear abut equipment still needed by the department.
