Police: Man Pulled Over For Speeding Had Not Renewed License for 12 Years

A Villa Park man stopped for speeding was found to have a driver’s license that had been suspended for 12 years, reports said.

Edward T. Paige, 37, was stopped by officers at North Avenue and Elm Street, when police said he was observed driving 45 mph in and 30mph zone around 10:11 a.m. Jan. 23.

When the officers checked Paige’s driver’s license, it was determined that the his license had expired in 2003, reports said.

Paige was charged with speeding and no valid driver’s license. He was released on bail, police said.
