
ELMHURST, IL - UPDATE: Patrick Mulhern, 21, of Elmhurst, has been found safe, according to a release from DuPage County Sheriff's Office. Mulhern was found at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. He is in good health and was reunited with his family, police said.
ORIGINAL STORY: DuPage County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public's assistance in locating a missing man with autism from unincorporated Elmhurst. Police said Patrick Mulhern, 21, was last seen at his home, near York and Diversey, by his parents at 2 a.m. Tuesday.
According to a release, Mulhern was last seen wearing blue-checkered pajama pants, a dark-colored Mr. Potato Head T-shirt and he may not be wearing shoes. He should also be wearing silver glasses, a black watch and a black para-cord bracelet.

Police said Mulhern likes to go to local parks and has a fascination with swing sets. Please check your yards and parks and keep an eye out for him in your travels.
