Registration forms and fee must be submitted by Saturday, Jan. 20 by 5 p.m. to the Wagner Community Center. According to the park district website, the preschool provides a safe, nurturing learning environment which will get children ready for kindergarten and beyond. Instructors focus on learning that is play-based, developmentally appropriate and respectful of social, cultural and linguistic diversity. The park district said the curriculum is guided by The Creative Curriculum for Preschool by Teaching Strategies® and by the Illinois Early Learning and Development Standards with special attention to literacy, mathematics, science &amp; technology, social studies, the arts and English language acquisition. Registration for any remaining spots will open on Monday, Feb. 5, 2018.
