Property Damage, DUIs, Retail Theft: Elmhurst Police Reports

Elmhurst Police reports through April 1.

The following items were taken from the Elmhurst police blotter throughout the past week. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

March 30

  • Gregory Fry, 58, of Bensenville, was arrested at 1:05 a.m. at Grand and Church for DUI, disobeying a traffic control signal and improper lane usage.
  • Keara Ingram, 26, of Chicago, was arrested at 5:43 p.m. at North and Berteau for driving while license suspended, expired registration, no insurance and possession of cannabis.
  • A walkway lantern was damaged with a brick sometime between 11 p.m. March 30 and 11 a.m. March 31 in the 900 block of South Hawthorne.

  • A male suspect filled three large bags with water and alcohol from Whole Foods, 215 S. Route 83, at 2 p.m. and walked out of the store without paying.
  • Brianna Gatlin, 27, of Chicago, was arrested at 6:27 p.m. at North and Indiana for driving while license suspended and tinted windows.
  • Julie Miller-Sheehan, 40, of the 500 block of West Crockett, was arrested at 9:01 p.m. at Garden and Babcock for DUI-alcohol, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
  • Lashonna Glover, 39, of Chicago, was arrested at 11:39 p.m. at North and Northwest for DUI-alcohol and improper lane use.

April 1

  • Stephfon Clay, 22, of Chicago, was arrested at 12:47 a.m. at St. Charles and Spring for improper lane use and no valid driver's license.
  • Kinal Patel, 32, of the 0-100 block of Elm Creek Drive, was arrested at 1:02 a.m. in the 0-100 block of Elm Creek for domestic battery. Patel was taken to DuPage County Jail.
  • Tyran Smith, 34, of Harvey, was arrested at 3:53 a.m. at North and West for DUI, improper lane use, driving without headlights when required and illegal transportation of alcohol.
