Railroad Repairs May Cause Delays In Elmhurst

ELMHURST, IL — The Canadian National Railroad has informed Elmhurst police that a train has damaged the tracks from Bartlett to Elmhurst and emergency repairs have been ordered, the police said in a Facebook post Monday night. The damage and repairs may cause crossing delays until the repairs are completed, police said.

The Facebook post did not indicate that Canadian National had a timetable for the repairs. Asked on Facebook whether Canadian National's tracks were the same as Metra's, the police said they were different.
