Susan Tripi DeLano will share some of the challenges refugees encounter in the resettlement process as well as the ways the Re:new Project is meeting the emotional, social and financial needs of refugee women by offering flexible employment in a safe, nurturing, and encouraging environment that focuses on both personal and professional development of the women in the Artisan Development programs.

The AAUW Value Promise states that, “By joining AAUW, we belong to a community that breaks through education and economic barriers so all women have a fair chance.” Re:new is an organization that is doing that here in our own community.

This program is free and open to the public. Registration is not required. For more information about AAUW, please visit aauwelmhurst.org or email info@aauwelmhurst.org.
